Our client is Asia's top Crypto Custodian. They are trusted by all institutions and HNWIs in growing and protecting Crypto assets. Powering Web3, their DeFi asset management crossed 1.5B AUM, rivalling with the top hedge funds. They provide SaaS products, invest in early-stage innovations and promising DeFi projects to enrich the DeFi ecosystem. They are highly featured and respected in the Crypto communities for their contributions in protecting the Crypto eco-systems and protocols. They are looking for a VP Sales to build and lead the team, focusing on their custody product.
Responsibilities:
• Originate and close new client opportunities, focused on institutional segments and HNW; serve as a sales lead for institutional/HNW custodian and liquidity management solution
• Contribute to significant client revenue growth
• Identify market new trend, maximise pre-sales impact and influence product priorities
• Coordinate and orchestrate blockchain integrations for Custody with development
team
• Kick off initial discussions around integration timeline and custom product needs, as
well as help set expectations on scope and pricing
• Identify areas for improvement and communicate these issues and possible solutions
with product teams and upper management
• Map the market to identify new leads and business opportunities with key target
customers in the crypto space
• Drive new business revenue through “out of the box” thinking and exceptional
execution in building communities
Requirements:
• Prefers candidates to have Technical Background, with strong understanding in Crypto DeFi, Web3 etc. or strong learning ability
• 8+ years relevant experience in a sales/business development role in the custody, HNIW, private banking, prime brokerage, securities lending, FX and/or crypto-related firm; broad network of institutional and/or HNW relationships
• A detail-oriented, results-focused individual who can work with minimal supervision but also closely in a team environment; be able to work flexible and stretched hours to interact with the crypto community as frequently as possible
• Experience in building and managing a sales team and having methodology
• Proven track record of strong institutional/HNW sales
• Excellent verbal/ written communication and presentation skills. Ability to easily build rapport with clients
• Always on the lookout for synergies both in and outside of the ecosystem
• Familiarity with cross-border international growth and expansion
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
