VP of International Sales to lead the efforts of a Gen AI Start Up based in Singapore

Our client is a Singapore headquartered AI engineering platform serving multiple industries clients and tech communities. The platform is to significantly automate all major engineering and product management processes with AI and Data Science technology.

The firm was founded by leading AI researchers, seasoned industry executives, and serial Tech entrepreneurs, and backed by TMT investors.

As the VP of International Sales, you will lead the efforts to expand into new markets and drive revenue growth across borders. Leveraging your expertise in international sales management, you will drive adoption and revenue growth from the ground up for our Gen AI engineering intelligence platform in international markets demands.

You Will

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for international markets, taking into account regional differences, regulatory requirements, and demand variations.
• Build, lead and mentor our international sales teams, providing guidance and support to navigate cultural nuances, regulatory complexities, and market dynamics.

• Build and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and distributors in target regions, driving business growth and market penetration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor product offerings, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches to meet the unique needs of international customers.
• Identify and evaluate market opportunities and potential risks, conducting market analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic decision- making.

• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, KPIs, and pipeline activity across international markets, providing regular reporting and insights to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export/import laws, and industry standards, working closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks.
• Stay abreast of global market trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments, proactively identifying opportunities for expansion and growth.

You Are
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven track record of success in international sales leadership roles, with experience in managing sales teams across diverse regions.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a global context.

• Established track record of scaling sales operations from inception, demonstrating the ability to build successful sales teams and achieve significant revenue growth.
• Extensive experience in building and scaling international sales organizations, with a focus on strategic planning, market expansion, and revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of international business practices, regulatory requirements, and compliance considerations, particularly in key markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, exceed sales targets, and achieve business objectives in international markets.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency, adaptability, and resilience.
