Due to business demand, my client is currently looking for a Software Engineer (Java) to join the Hong Kong team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications.
- Optimize and improve existing backend processes for enhanced performance and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend components to ensure high-quality code.
- Work closely with mobile frontend developers to integrate backend functionality into mobile applications using Flutter.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of APIs with the frontend.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Solid experience in backend development using frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in SQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience working with mobile frontend development frameworks like Flutter is strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
