  • Comprehensive understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, etc.).
  • Proficient comprehension of Azure networking principles, virtual networks, and network security within a cloud-based setting.

Being a trusted partner to clients in the financial services, law, and professional sectors, my client is known for their technology and deep understanding of regulatory environment. With over 30 offices and 1000 employees globally, my client has achieved revenue and business growth in the past few years. They are currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer in Hong Kong to join the regional IT team.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Utilize your expertise in CCNA, CCNP, and Azure network infrastructure to develop and deploy robust networking solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide effective networking solutions that align with industry regulations and standards.
  • Identify and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Implement and manage network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential network vulnerabilities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to our network infrastructure.


  • Possess CCNA and CCNP certifications, demonstrating a strong foundation in network engineering.
  • Extensive experience in working with network infrastructure, preferably in a regulated industry such as financial services, law firms, or professional services providers.
  • Proficiency in Azure network infrastructure, including design, implementation, and management of Azure virtual networks, VPN gateways, and network security groups.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to network security, confidentiality, and data protection.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
