The Role
The Senior content editor forms part of a talented team of editors who efficiently manage global website content in multiple languages. You’ll be responsible for continuously pushing the boundaries, supporting the brand identity and providing solutions to the business's ever-changing needs.
Responsibilities
- Update and implement basic new designs for web pages as required across our global websites
- Support complex project delivery globally
- Input content in multiple languages, publish articles and coordinate sign off before publication
- Deliver quality work within service level agreements with problem-solving initiative as needed
- Leverage technology for improved go-to-market timelines
- Share expertise and best practices with colleagues supporting continuous improvement and efficiency of output
- Lead, empower and grow your team members skill, effectiveness, efficiency and maintain a positive working environment that inspires the team
- Identify gaps and opportunities for website improvements (issues, processes, copy, design, SEO, UX, etc.) and suggest possible fixes via solution-driven approach
- Provide technical advice both inside and outside the team, support execution planning for the most complex projects from a Content Editing perspective
Qualifications
- Chinese language proficient - spoken and written word
- 4-6 years experience in senior content editing or similar technical field
- Experience using content management systems - preferably AEM to create, amend and publish web pages using TouchUI, AEM core components and grid responsive layouts
- You should have proficiency in Figma design tool
- Relevant experience with Workflow management tools such as Workfront / Jira
- Proven ability to lead a team
- A proactive and positive mindset with an interest in data and technology
- A curious outlook - staying up-to-date with website trends, technologies and functionality
- Willingness to be a team player who can independently manage assigned tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a multicultural environment
- To be a self-starter who takes initiative and actively works towards growing the creative capabilities and profile of the team
