My client is a finance SaaS platform start-up based in Hong Kong. They provide investment related solutions and services to a wide range of commercial clients. The founding team members are diverse in background and proven track record in the related industries. As business is growing rapidly, they are looking to expand the team and hiring a backend developer (Python)


  • Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
  • Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
  • Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
  • Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
  • Provide technical solution implementation according to the functional specification
  • Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions
  • Support the team in operations workflow


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3 years of software engineering experienceStrong communication and collaboration skills, be able to communicate technical content to an audience with varied backgrounds
  • Hands-on experience on Ruby on Rail, Python, PostgresSQL.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Eager to learn and understand the business needs aiming to provide clean designs and high-quality code
  • Strong conceptual and analytical mind with a structured and autonomous approach to work on complex technical and business problems
  • Strong system analysis and problem solving skills
