  • Manage all tax aspects of group's financial statements as well as external tax reporting such as CbCR
  • Support Global/corporate tax compliance such as Pillars 1 and 2
  • Be the SME for all tax accounting related matters



Our client is a world leading compliant cryptocurrency platform serving over millions of accounts globally. Providing advanced financial services to traders globally by using blockchain technology, they have played a major part in mainstream awareness and adoption of cryptocurrency. They also provide hundreds of token & futures trading pairs to help traders to optimize their strategy




·       Managing all tax aspects of the group’s financial statements as well as external tax reporting such as the CbCR, the future Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework & similar

·       Support global/corporate tax compliance as applicable, such as Pillars 1 and 2 currently under discussion

·       Monitor regulatory tax law development (including crypto-related), evaluate its implication to the group, and brief the finance team and wider business as appropriate

·       Assisting with legal entity structuring, token analysis, deal analysis, revenue recognition, and implementation of tax objectives

·       Manage the reporting of the group’s consolidated effective tax rate, tax cash flow statements, uncertain tax positions, relevant tax balance sheet and P&L items and tax notes of the group’s financial statements

·       Proactively identify tax risks and work with the broader teams on opportunities for optimization / risk mitigation

·       Support Regional finance team in liaising with tax authorities and tax consultants globally

·       Lead all tax operations-related projects such as connected to ERP / tools, and other tax reporting processes.




·       Be the SME for all tax accounting related matters

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or Taxation

·       CPA / CA or advanced taxation qualification preferred

·       Preferably in a Big 4 and/multinational in-house practitioner

·       Technically strong with solid knowledge and experience in tax law and regulations globally

·       Experience in a DeFi/cryptocurrency environment strongly preferred

·       Be a fast learner and be highly flexible and adapted to a fast-paced environment
