My client is looking for talented individuals who are passionate about power of data to drive informed decision-making and deliver exceptional results. You will play a critical role in extracting valuable insights from complex datasets, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and business development, to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, utilizing statistical techniques and data mining methodologies.
- Develop and maintain robust data models, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and visualize performance metrics.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
- Conduct ad-hoc data investigations and research projects to support business initiatives and provide data-driven solutions.
- Identify data quality issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to improve data accuracy and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and visualization techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data mining techniques, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and critically.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Fluent in Cantonese is a highly preferred.
