My client is a prominent technology company based in a Hong Kong, offering extensive range of services not limited to cloud computing, Information Technology (IT) management, and tailored solutions, my client has been a well-known market player for over 15 years. Their diverse portfolio includes cloud infrastructure, robust security measures, modern workplace solutions, data backup services, business applications, and streamlined communication solutions. My client is currently expanding the team and looking for an Cloud Engineer (Azure) to join the team in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Support and assist customers with technical issues in cloud infrastructure projects, which include Microsoft 365, Azure, and On-Prem Hosting Platform.
- Troubleshoot, set up, and design solutions for cloud infrastructure, encompassing areas like network, security, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and identity management.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions within the allocated budget and timeline.
- Adhere to industry best practices and standards for cloud infrastructure engineering, including DevOps, automation, monitoring, and documentation.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure, providing suggestions for improvement and innovation.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and skills.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in network design and implementation, covering VPN, firewall, load balancer, DNS, and subnetting.
- Proficiency in cloud security, encompassing encryption, key vault, identity and access management, and compliance.
- Proficiency in cloud storage, backup, and disaster recovery, including blob, file share, disk, snapshot, and replication.
- Proficiency in cloud identity management, such as Azure Active Directory, hybrid identity, and single sign-on.
- Preferably, certification in Microsoft Azure or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies, such as Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and PowerShell, is a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge in new technologies and delivering top-notch solutions to customers.
