Position Overview
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Country Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and drive the marketing efforts of our rapidly expanding retail brand in Singapore. As the CMO, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to support our ambitious growth targets over the next few years. This role requires a visionary leader who can manage a dynamic marketing team, optimize brand positioning, and create impactful campaigns that resonate with the local market while aligning with global objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a robust marketing strategy to drive exponential growth, enhance brand visibility, and increase market share in Singapore.
- Brand Management: Oversee the evolution and strengthening of the brand identity, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company’s global vision while adapting to local market needs.
- Campaign Development: Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and in-store promotions, to drive customer engagement and sales.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities. Utilize insights to inform strategic decisions and marketing initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives, and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, media, and agencies to enhance brand presence and support marketing objectives.
Role Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record in the retail sector and experience in scaling brands.
- Skills: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, manage cross-functional projects, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Singaporean retail market and consumer behavior. Experience with international or regional marketing strategies is an advantage.
