Our client is a leading financial institution with a strong presence in the Asia region, known for comprehensive products and services not limited to wealth management, brokerage, investment banking, fixed income, and asset management. With a successful track record spanning more than a decade, they have established a trusted financial brand with the solid Asia footprint. They are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of business requirements and translate them into user requirements for digital platforms, both internal and external, to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with IT and back-office teams to initiate and coordinate digital projects, ensuring alignment in development and implementation across business units.
- Conduct Users Acceptance Test (UAT) on the online securities, futures, and options trading platform.
- Coordinate the UAT life-cycle with testers and IT teams.
- Prepare thorough test plans and test cases.
- Take responsibility for training on our trading system and the development of user manuals.
- Handle ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
- Manage day-to-day operations related to the trading system.
- Review and update web content.
- Provide system support and address user inquiries regarding electronic trading platforms.
Requirements:
- Hold a university degree in finance or business.
- Possess at least 3 years of working experience in the securities and financial industry (preferred).
- Have experience with wealth management products (advantageous).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- A team player who is proactive and demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Azure.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
