About the Role
The Associate Media Director assumes a pivotal role in project scoping and delivery, serving as the primary point person for managing clients' business needs. Their responsibilities include crafting and implementing strategic communication solutions that yield measurable results. This role entails comprehensive communication management, ensuring on-time delivery, and fostering accountability. Adaptability is crucial to meet evolving client requirements.
What you'll be doing
Business development: cultivating new opportunities from existing clients, expanding current prospects, and supporting directors in seeking new business ventures.
Assumes leadership in client servicing, ensuring their needs are consistently met.
Participates in client briefings and progress meetings, preparing comprehensive briefs/background information.
Aligns communication practices with business goals and client KPIs/milestones.
Collaborates with directors to develop and present proposals, pitches, and engage in new business meetings.
Provides clear project briefs to the team, outlining rationale and context, and engages them in strategic project objectives.
Monitors and manages ongoing campaigns to ensure alignment with plans and optimize for improved performance.
Generates insightful interim and post-campaign reports for future project kick-starts or as learning resources for upcoming campaigns.
Ensures efficient billing for agency-performed work.
Stays updated on the latest media developments and trends, actively seeking knowledge through self-learning or external workshops.
Guides executives in day-to-day executions, providing training on media and client servicing fundamentals.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a media agency, with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing a team.
Proficiency in both offline and digital platforms, including print, outdoor, radio, magazines, digital portals, SEM, Programmatic, Facebook/Instagram, Outbrain, etc.
Experience with digital 3rd party ad serving.
Strong interpersonal skills, articulate communication, and confidence in engaging with new people.
Analytical proficiency to derive meaningful insights from data and convey a compelling story.
Ability to challenge norms, think creatively, and provide innovative solutions.
Effective performance under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising professional standards.
Expertise in strategic thinking, development of media communication strategies, and execution of media plans.
