As the Assistant Account Director / Account Director, you will have the opportunity to strategise and boost the
client’s experience with the Company, to maximise the potential in client retention, in order to build a profitable
and sustainable business. This includes the (a) effective and efficient management of the Client services team
(b) oversee and drive initiatives to improve on strategies to better serve the changing needs of customers.
Reporting to Managing director, you will:
§ Drive new business developments through seasoned sales techniques; for both new and existing
clients
§ Guide agency team to win pitches through strong client knowledge and insights
§ Champion strategies and ideas for integrated campaigns (brand, advertising, PR, content, social,
digital, sustainability, ESG-focused)
§ Develop and actively oversee company sales targets
§ Inspire and influence clients, creatives and project members
§ Guide team of 5; grow their expertise and steering their accounts / issues in accounts
§ Oversees project management of team members
§ Keep abreast on latest trends and thoughts, best practices and competitive movements on-ground
§ Drive marketing planning and implementation for company
§ Co-steer agency business and cultural directions with senior management
Qualifications, Skills & Experiences Required
§ Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology or of related discipline
§ At least 3 years director or 6 years senior manager experience within agency
§ Prefers boutique advertising agency or brand consultancy experience
§ Experienced in agency operations and workflow
§ Experienced in leading and guiding a team
§ Technically strong in at least 2 out of 4 areas below - Research, Strategic branding, 360 campaigns,
PR/social media; able to advise clients in those areas
§ Knowledgeable in sustainability practices in marketing and beyond and is keen to deploy initiatives
for client
§ Able to read clients like a book and manage them; Strong account planning and management skills
§ Able to manage sales targets and marketing budgets
§ Write, speak and express yourself like a pro
§ Positive personality, creative and collaborative
§ Meticulous and detail-oriented
